Lake Manyara Safari Tours with Maluku

Lake Manyara National Park is a compact but diverse park at the base of the Rift Valley escarpment. Despite covering a relatively small area, it contains forest, groundwater fig trees, open floodplain, acacia woodland, and the alkaline lake itself. It is best known for its population of tree-climbing lions — lions that rest in the branches of acacia and fig trees, which is unusual behaviour for the species — and for the large numbers of flamingos that gather on the lake when water conditions are right. It is usually the first or last stop on a northern circuit itinerary, with a half-day or full-day game drive.
